My favorite thing about reading celebrity gossip online is to then read people's outraged comments. Inevitably in the course of a comment thread someone will get really mad and start yelling at everyone.

"I can't believe you guys are arguing about Tom and Katie when there are people DYING in the middle east"

I love this, because the only thing worse than arguing about celebrity gossip when people are dying is yelling at people arguing about celebrity gossip when people are dying.

Personally, I like to go to the political blogs and leave comments.

"I can't believe you people are arguing over the death count in Iraq when there is a question over whether or not Tom Cruise's baby even EXISTS"
