In which the comedy of Comedy continues to be funnier than the comedy of comedians

I did an NBC showcase last week, called "Stand-Up For Diversity". This is an annual event in which NBC goes to different cities, sees a ton of "comics from diverse backgrounds" and narrows them down to 10-15 comics to perform in a showcase in that city. They then choose 10 of those finalists to perform in an industry showcase in L.A. But I digress.

The San Francisco Stand-Up For Diversity showcase was held at Cobb's, and I did make it into that showcase, and had a lot of fun.

I think, though, that the funniest part of the showcase was that after all of the diverse comics went on, Cobb's put on 6 white guys.

Oh Comedy, you are so deliciously ironic.
