Mother/Daughter Trip (day one):

me: I don't like my new face stuff
mom: Why did you get something new when what you had was working?
me: It's making my face break out, look!
mom: ew.
me: I didn't like the old stuff I had.
mom: you should get something that evens out your skin tone.
me: this stuff has sunblock and is anti-aging.
mom: maybe so, but my stuff evens out skin tone.
me: but my skin tone is even.
mom: [pointing] yeah, but not right there.
