I'm used to doing stand-up comedy in Boston. There are two types of comedians in Boston--Jewish men and Irish Catholic men. So far I've done one show in San Francisco and I think I'm in for a bit of a change.

I've never heard the following phrase at a comedy club before:

"Aw, you can't put me on next, that'll be two white guys in a row."
"Okay. Alana, you're up next."
