I recently went to New York with a friend. We were walking around and came across a construction site. People were watching the construction and blocking the pedestrian traffic, which irritated my friend:

What, construction is more interesting because it's in New York? The entire city of Boston is one big construction site, people don't feel a need to BLOCK traffic because of it.
