I have a tendency to talk back to the television. Not in the yelling at the ballplayer for making a stupid move sort of way, but more in a I like to answer questions that are asked out loud sort of way.
Which is to say that when a Dove commercial asks Would you wash your face with an abrasive soap? I am likely to answer Is it free?
Commercials with a series of questions especially draw me in, distracting me from anything else I might be doing at the time.
-Would you wash your sensitive face with a cleanser that contained fragrances?
-I guess so, but I don't really have sensitive skin.
-Would you wash your face with a cleanser that contained dyes?
-Well, did I already buy it? I might not have known.
The TV. The only person that cares about what I think.
