best of the game playing: Mygirls's charade of Hillary Clinton (aka standing and saluting followed by shaking hips while miming the shape of a skirt)
best of the foods: TIE! macaroni and cheese; green "salad"
best of the reunions: Alana and Zoe 2003-4
best adventure: walking on the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk while pretending to be in the Lost Boys
best realization: on Saturday, December 27 while watching the credits for The Last Samurai when I realized that I don't have to go back to work for an entire month.
best movie: Monster

So, for those of you not in the know, I am spending the month of January in sunny California to do some writing and some perusing of the comedy scene and some catching up with family and old friends. And, just to prove my love for you, I'll be back to my regular posting schedule!
