There's a smell that I associate with strippers. It's powdery, faintly floral and smells like pink. Mix those smells with cigarette smoke and ambient alcohol and that's what I like to call stripper smell. I have an obsession with it. I wonder how it is that every stripper smells the same. When they join the stripper union do they get a lifetime supply of stripper smell? I almost never smell stripper outside of the clubs (which I never go to, of course) but when I do it's like stumbling upon a winning lottery ticket--assuming that I won more than $5.

One of the cocktail waitresses at Boston Billiards had the scent. And, more recently, I discovered that one of my friends wears stripper smell. Now, whenever I see her I make an effort to stand close enough to her that I can see if she still smells of stripper. She does.
