One of the things that never ceases to amaze me about comedians is the level of drama and stress that they have in relation to creating their set lists before each performance. Whenever I get to shows early I end up feeling surrounded by comics running around saying "ACK! I have to write my SET LIST!" as if it's the end of the world. But the thing is, coming up with the set list is part of our job. It's like being an accountant and showing up to work each morning shouting, "Oh my god! I have to turn on my calculator!"
