I've been working on a project at work for the last week. Every day I stare at it for about fifteen minutes before deciding to surf the web. An hour later I realize that nobody else is going to do the project for me and so I gather all of the papers again and look at them for a few minutes before deciding I should call someone, or send an email or maybe go walk to the other side of the building.

The project is not difficult, it's just multi-layered and I don't really have much guidance. I tend to follow the path of least resistance when it comes to things I have to do, which is to say that I do whatever is easiest and then figure out ways to avoid doing the things that require an actual effort.

Which is why all of my mail has been opened, but none of the bills have been paid.
