I came home last night and buckethead had managed to remove his buckethead so that he could clean his wounds. He did a good job around the drain area and an especially good job around the wound area. And when I say a good job around the wound area, I mean, so good a job that I have to take him back in to get his sutures redone today. He's got a little more life in him today than he had the last couple of days, but he's still almost entirely unresponsive to external stimulus. Unless you consider staring at walls and the ceiling responsive, because he's quite good at that. I leave in a few minutes to take him to the vet, where he will get his rabies booster and his drain removed. Oh, and his sutures investigated. Silly buckethead.
