I am currently being in the process of attempting to justify my laziness. You see, I left my newly refilled water bottle down in the Corporate Actions department. It is the farthest spot from my desk on this floor, which means it takes about a minute to walk over there. I am trying to think of all the possible reasons to not walk over there and what I need to do if I actually don't walk over there. Currently I have three reasons not to go: It seems sooooo far; I might have to talk to people (or otherwise be given more work to do); and if I leave it there, I won't have to bring my water with me tomorrow. If I don't get the water I have two options: I can fill up the other empty bottle I have in my office, but it is a half liter, whereas the one I left in Corporate Actions is a liter. Or, I can go down to the first floor and buy another liter bottle and then I would have a brand new bottle of water at my desk AND one at my desk over in Corporate Actions. Somehow a trip on the elevator and the spending of money seems a better option than walking across the floor.
Did I mention that I am dying of thirst right now? Positively dying.
