happy birthday

Things I'm not excited about right now include the two jackhammers within fifty yards of my window. I just wish they could synchronize or something. The one that's farther away is doing some steady drilling, and the one that's closer can't seem to find a rhythm at all. It's like it's not even trying.

Yesterday I put myself on writer's probation. Which is to say I was trying to eliminate all of the writing I was doing that wasn't related to the actual writing I have a deadline for. I finished my draft, though, so now I'm back to being scatterbrained and incapable of focusing on any one thing.

Anyway, you can come to see me do what I was working on yesterday here. I recommend it. If I ever get around to making my list of changes to my code I will actually add my upcoming dates over there...
