Ferdinand (male) 1992-
Ferdinand is Fifi's 6th offspring. He was a very large baby, whose difficult birth (nest on the ground) was observed. His elder brother, Faustino, was not yet four years old, and continued to sleep in the same nest, ride Fifi's back and suckle along with Ferdinand. Sometimes it was hard to tell that Faustino was the eldest. During an epidemic of scabies, Ferdinand, along with his mother, nearly died. They lost all hair; however, Faustino was not afflicted.
