For those of you who are curious as to the secrets of becoming my friend I will tell them to you now. I like having friends, so I want to make it easy for you. I also want you to know that it is easy to become my friend. Here are my three needs:

1. Pronounce my first name correctly. It is Alana (Uh-LAWN-Uh). It is not Uh-LANE-uh. Or Atlanta without the Ts. I will give you one grace mis-pronunciation and that is IT. Make my name sound beautiful. Do not make it sound nasally. If you make it sound nasally I will immediately hate you because I will believe you are stupid.
2. Laugh at my jokes. Let me go back a step. Think that my jokes are funny and laugh. Also, think that other things are funny. Just laugh a lot. I like laughers.
3. Don't tell me to stop pointing out every single puppy dog I see. This will be a losing battle for you.

It will also help if you never utter the following phrase to me "whoops, I totally flaked."
