My best typo today was when I wrote, "I'm a sticker for the semantics."

My mom and I were talking last night about her upcoming visit to Boston (she lives in California). I told her to bring her coat and gloves and scarf and hat because it is cold here. And she said, "It's going to be cold? Like when I used to visit you in Texas?" And I said "No, it's going to actually be cold because this is New England." "Oh, Okay." I'm not sure why it is that my mom decided that it is cold in Austin, Texas. It's certainly not any colder than sunny San Jose.

This morning my mom called me. She told me that my dad needed to talk to me. So I held while she got him. He gets on the phone and says "Too late" and hands the phone back to my mom. I guess he needed help with a crossword puzzle clue, but had figured it out in the time it took my mom to dial my number.
