More notes on my dad.

My Dad and I just had the following interaction over the phone
(ring)
Me: Hello
Him: Hi, will you call me right back?
Me: Sure
(I hang up and dial)
Him: My cordless phone works all the way out at the street!

I am at work staring down a plate of cookies. These cookies will not defeat me. I will defeat them. I will defeat them by not eating one until AFTER I have eaten lunch. I may even eat more than one after lunch, but I will definitely wait until AFTER lunch. Then I will have won.

I kind of exaggerated when I just told that story about the cookies. The cookies aren't actually on a plate, they are in a disposable Glad (r) container. And they aren't even in my line of vision. They are on my desk behind me. So really I'm not staring at them at all, they are staring at the back of my head. Nevertheless, I will still win.
