More notes on my dad, Bob Devich:

Bob Devich is currently in the process of trimming the juniper bushes to resemble bonsai trees. He got the idea from the neighbors to the stage left who have two lion dogs and had their gardeners trim their juniper bushes. When the gardeners finished trimming said neighbors junipers, one could see all of the dead branches underneath. My dad suggested that the neighbor clean the dead branches out from under the bushes and shape them. The neighbor then improvised and decided to shape them like bonsai trees. Bob Devich loves the look and is now doing this to his own junipers. Yesterday, my dad ran into the neighbor who gave him the thumbs up on his progress.

Also, my dad told me about the meteor show last night. I got all excited and sat around waiting for the shower to begin (I had planned to go to sleep early) and then when out side at 10:30 and at 11:00 and 11:30 and where were the meteors? I swear I am destined to never see anything good that happens in space even though I like to look at the stars. I look up and I see Orion. That is all. Every time.

I don't think I have anything else to say about my dad today. Oh, except he told me that it is wonton soup he likes to eat, not hot and sour as I suggested yesterday. And that he had popcorn as a snack yesterday, not for lunch.
