It's 11:30 and I haven't blogged yet? What was I thinking! I have so much to say. And I will start now.
um... now.
okay... now?
shit.
I've got a whirlwind inside, but it's not doing anything productive like creating sentences. The Montreal showcase went well last night, thanks for asking. And thanks for those of you who came to see it. I thought the night was so good it was tiring. I guess I was stressed out about it because last night I dreamed about every little passing thought or anxiety I had over the course of the weekend.
I finally went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding this weekend. I deem it: okay. The best part about seeing it was the rest of the audience. Behind me and to the left was a man alone. Any time music played for more than five seconds he started snapping along. In front of me and to the left was an older couple. They were huddled together, his arm around her shoulder, their cheeks pressing together and they laughed at every joke. Any time something sweet would happen, the woman would sigh loudly and chuckle. In the same row and to the right was a group of women my age. In the scene where love interest with the bad hair comes into the travel agency and the camera zooms in when he says "hi," one of the women in the group responded "HI!"
I thought that telling that story would distract you long enough for me to come up with something interesting to say. It didn't. I mean, it did distract you, but I didn't follow through with my part of the deal.
