If I were to write a screenplay it wouldn't be a concept piece. It would be about a young woman who has a hard time standing her own ground. We would see her being pulled in every which direction and know that she is going to ex- or im-plode by the end of the movie if she doesn't figure out a way to trust her own judgement. We will watch her waffle in all of her relationships--romantic, platonic, work, the gas station attendant. She would be annoying if the treatment of the story weren't so darn comical. At the climax something huge will happen to her. Something in which she doesn't have the time to think, much less be persuaded by what other people want. After that, either everything will change, or she will go right back to the way she was before.
